Need to recover photos from your water damaged or dead iPhone? We can help. Unlike computers, iPhones do not have a hard drive that you can easily remove and install. All data is stored on a flash memory chip that is micro soldered to the motherboard. This chip is then encrypted by your unique CPU. If the motherboard dies, your data goes along with it. Recovering data involves troubleshooting and fixing dead circuits under a microscope enough so that the iPhone boots properly and allows us access to its data until we can fully back it up. This is the only way to recover data from an iPhone that does not turn on or function or properly.
Unlike most companies that offer a flat data recovery fee no matter the issue, we understand that each case is unique. Some data recovery jobs are simple in that they require minor part replacements and some are so complex that they require full CPU/NAND transplants to a donor motherboard. This is why we offer data recovery in different tiers. We exhaust all simpler (and cheaper) solutions before advanced methods are required:
Tier 1: $125 (1-2 business day turnaround)
Assuming your motherboard works normally, your data recovery would fall in our Tier 1 rate.
Tier 2: $175-$250 (1-5 business days turnaround)
If the motherboard shows no signs of life or there are other component level issues, we would need to troubleshoot and fix the shorted or damaged circuits under a microscope to bring your motherboard back to life and recover the data (typical with minor liquid damage, minor component level issues).
Tier 3: $600 (3-7 weeks turnaround)
Tier 3 involves much more complex BGA chip troubleshooting often involving full CPU transplants to a donor board (typical with dual layered motherboards and/or more serious liquid damage, impact damage, major component level issues, etc.).
